This 40 hour training is the first in a series of courses leading to a certification in Tantra and Sexual Healing.

This course will provide fundamental tools for Sexual Healing equally beneficial for individuals interested in Tantra and for professionals already involved in the healing arts.

My intention with this series is to share the essence of what I have been blessed to receive on my own passionate awakening journey as well as in my professional life. The reconciliation of sexuality and spirituality has carved my work as a Tantra teacher and sexual healer. My greatest vision is a global reconciliation of sexuality and spirituality brought forth by a community of qualified sexual healers. My vision is also to create a Tantric community where sacred sexuality is honored and where we can truly support one another.

This Tantra and Sexual Healing Certification Training Level 1 is designed to:

Give the participant a practical understanding, based in the ancient Tantric and Taoist teachings, of working with sexual energy for self healing and empowerment
Cultivate sexual energy for optimum health
Foster an alchemical transformation of sexual energy to open the door to spiritual experiences

Using Sex Magick to manifest what you want
Tantric Rituals and a Tantric Feast

* It is an honour to have Dr. Ana Mozol with us presenting a segment on the latest theories of sexual trauma including: repetition compulsion, short and long term effects, and techniques to help free oneself, intrapsychically and relationally, from the often paralyzing effects of trauma.

The training is a seven day residential program at Xenia Retreat Centre.

After this course there will be assigned homework to prepare the student for a second level training that addresses deeper aspects of Tantra and sexual healing. Following the second level training the student must show proficiency in these healing methods by successfully completing a practicum and an exam. At that time a certificate will be awarded.

The Level 1 Training is complete and beneficial in itself whether or not the student chooses to pursue the whole training leading to the certificate.

About the Instructors

Maryse Côté was initiated to Tantra in India in 1980 and studied with Osho for seven years, Margo Anand, Saraswati & Avinasha (Tantra teacher's training). She is certified from Dr Scherer Academy of Massage and the Healing Arts in Santa Fe and taught massage at the Utah College of Massage. She started her private Tantric practice in 1989 in California and has taught Tantra and Sexual Healing Workshops and trainings ever since. Maryse has pursued her studies of Buddhism over a number of years and since 2000 she has been doing private studies in the ancient Vedic teachings of Advaita Vedanta.

Dr. Ana Mozol obtained her MA in counseling psychology and her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from North America's foremost institute for the study of depth psychology, Pacifica Graduate Institute. She is trained in the fields of Jungian, Psychoanalytic, Archetypal and Imaginal psychology as well as mythological studies. She has studied with and been mentored by such distinguished elders in the field as James Hillman, Christine Downing and Marion Woodman.

Dr. Mozol has extensive training in Trauma and Recovery and focused her doctoral research on the connection between ancient goddess mythology, women's contemporary dreams, and sexual trauma. In her practice she focuses on in-depth individual analysis and archetypal dreamwork. In her private work she helps both men and women free themselves from the negative side of patriarchal bonds and embrace a more authentic sense of self. In the past she has worked for Family Services of Greater Vancouver as an adult trauma therapist where she also led groups on trauma and recovery.

Please take in consideration that this is a condensed Basic Training extracting the essence of what I have been teaching privately and to groups for all those years and which I consider essential to be working with people professionally. It doesn’t claim to be more than it is: basic in its nature and yet suited to those who would like to integrate Sacred Intimacy as a professional practice (following lots of practice and personal sexual healing as the case might be). The limited amount of time doesn’t allow for more supervised hands-on work than what is already scheduled within the course or for extra counseling although that can be offered separately on an hourly basis consultation fee after the training (also available by phone).

The training will be held at Xenia a beautiful 38-acre retreat centre in the heart of Bowen Island close to Vancouver. Xenia is a Sanctuary in nature offering beauty, stillness and an oasis for the creative soul to emerge. Ammenities include charming character cabins, serene hiking trails around a lake through mature forest, wood fired sauna, labyrinth, and meditation space.
